Membership

Belong to something bigger.

Membership connects fellowship at Lodge 346 with a nationwide tradition of charity, community service, and good citizenship.

01

Membership begins with a few essentials

The national Order sets the eligibility requirements. Your Lodge sponsor and local officers will help guide you through the rest.

Age 21+

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

Belief in God

Applicants affirm a belief in God.

U.S. citizenship

Applicants are U.S. citizens who pledge allegiance to and salute the American Flag.

Good character

Applicants are expected to be people of good character.

02

How the process works.

An inquiry is the first conversation. Formal membership includes sponsorship, Lodge review, a vote, orientation, and initiation.

01

Send an inquiry

Tell Lodge 346 that you would like to learn more. A member can answer questions and help you get acquainted.

02

Connect with a sponsor

You will need a sponsor who is an Elk in good standing, plus two Elks who can serve as references.

03

Review and vote

The application is presented, reviewed by an investigating committee, and voted on by the membership.

04

Orientation and initiation

Approved applicants learn about the Order and its programs before taking part in initiation.

03

Start your inquiry.

Ask a question, request more information, or let the Lodge know you are ready to take the first step.
